LS : 01 - The Storm : This photo was taken along the Birsay coastline on the Isle's of Orkney. The wind gusts peaked to 56mph that day. it certainly was a challenge for me & my camera. The coastal path follows the attractive rocky shore to Skipi Geo, originally a Viking harbour but now disused.

LS : 02 - The Standing Stones of Stenness is a Neolithic monument five miles northeast of Stromness on the mainland of Orkney, Scotland. This may be the oldest henge in the United Kingdom. It is believed it was erected before Stonehenge.

LS : 03 - Buachaille Etive Mòr (A82 Trunk Road) The road to Fort William.

LS : 05 - Through the Storm : Storm Ophelia 18th of October 2017 - (The storm winds peaked to 115mph; as it headed directly to the South Ayrshire coastline. It wasn't easy taking this shot to be honest, as you can see by the crashing waves against the rocks. I can say it was a hair raising moment while my finger was on the button! One of my biggest customers on this photo is 'Trump Turnberry Hotel' in South Ayrshire, purchased this image in which i'm proud to mention. It was worth the challenge! : The Lighthouse stands proudly on a moat hill keeping ships safe from the rocky shore line. It was built on top of castle remains & is believed it was called 'Turnberry Castle'. It's thought to be the birthplace of 'King Robert the Bruce' back in the year 1274 (King Of Scotland). If visiting look out for the remains of the castle on the western side [Shore]. Be careful though as the sea can rapidly come in & catch you out.

This iconic scottish bridge was built back in 1882, by two English engineers, Sir John Fowler and Benjamin Baker. it had taken 8-years to construct at a total cost of £3.2m. LS : 12 - Leaderfoot Viaduct (In the Distance) : One of the most striking heritage landmarks in the Scottish Borders is the 19th-century Leaderfoot Viaduct, built in 1865 to carry the Berwickshire Railway across the River Tweed just east of Melrose.

LS : 29 - Winters Morning : Black Rock Cottage, Glen Coe

LS : 30 - The River Clyde, Glasgow (Drone Photo). Formerly Known as the Millennium Tower is a 417 ft free-standing landmark that looks over the city on the south bank. The observation tower is located on the south bank of the river. You can also see the Science centre below the tower, this is well worth a visit especially for the children to get hands on in learning science topics.

LS : 31 - The Glen Lee & Transport Museum, Glasgow. The ship is a steel-hulled three-masted barque, built as a cargo ship at Port Glasgow under that name in 1896.

LS : 32 - Falls of Falloch is a waterfall and local beauty spot just north of Loch Lomond on the river Falloch. Many people enjoy a swim here in summer when the weather is good. Parking is minimal, so you need to arrive early as it's a very popular location. It's well hidden from the A82 road so you need to slow down and look for the sign on approach. If you look to the right hand side rock you can see a face (Optical Illusion) If you can't see it please don't blame me hahaha!
